Meet Our Founder

Belinda Lesser, EdM, MPA, Harvard University
Founder, Director, Education Specialist
Belinda enjoys working with students of all ages. Her vast experience in education provides a foundation to support her students in achieving their learning potential in multiple settings. She especially loves teaching math and finds ways to motivate and support academic improvement and personal motivation for her students using individualized methods in-person and online.
Belinda received her BA in International Economics from the American University in Paris and subsequently worked as a statistical analyst for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Inspired to promote quality education at all levels, Belinda spent two years at Harvard where she earned double Masters Degrees in Public Administration and Education. As a CA credentialed teacher in Multiple/General Subjects and Mathematics, Belinda has spent over 30 years in California public schools and nonprofit organizations as a teacher, counselor, administrator, remediation and ELD instructor and assessment coordinator. She has worked with students of all ages and levels of achievement, including those that struggle with learning challenges.
Locally, Belinda has worked as an elementary, middle, and high school math teacher in Albany, WCCUSD and Berkeley Unified School Districts, and has served on the Brown University Freshman Admissions Interview Committee. She also served for many years as a Board Member/Representative to the California Math (Educators) Council (CMC) and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM.) As well, Belinda was an assistant teacher and financial director at El Cerrito Preschool Center.
